The Pastoral Care Groups (PCG) create a nurturing environment that promotes growth, where students can develop their emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.
PCG's are organised by Houses and provide students with tools to strengthen their mental health, empathy and interpersonal skills, fostering connections and creating a consistent sense of continuity and belonging for students throughout their entire schooling.
Senior School Pastoral Care Programmes
Compass
Compass, one of the Senior School Pastoral Programmes, nurtures students' skills for navigating school and developing into self-aware, responsible, and resilient adults. Emphasising student wellbeing, it offers a broad range of experiences, life lessons and important conversations to guide and support students. Central to Compass is Year 9 'The Rite Journey', providing an experience assisting students in transitioning from childhood to young adulthood.
Connect
The Connect programme fosters belonging and meaningful relationships among students and their PCG Teachers through diverse activities, open conversations and engaging games. It offers flexibility for PCG Teachers to tailor engagement based on the individual needs and personalities of the cohort.
