Year 7 and 8
Year 9 and 10

Year 3, 4, 5 and 6

Our Junior School programme has a focus on Basketball fundamentals, including ball handling, passing, footwork, jump shooting, and layups. They will also be introduced to the basics of 5v5 gameplay and start to develop basic decision-making skills. This programme is designed to provide students with a pathway into the Senior School Basketball Academy and will be delivered in a way that promotes enjoyment and facilitates a passion for Basketball.

Year 7 and 8

Students will be introduced to the PCACS Style of Play. The offensive and defensive concepts associated with our play style in half-court and transition settings will facilitate further development and promote increased engagement in Basketball. Students will also be introduced to our injury prevention programme and develop knowledge of the components of fitness through regular testing.

Year 9 and 10

Students will expand on their understanding of the PCACS Style of Play through a variety of concepts, which will improve their decision-making and execution on court in half-court and transition settings. Students will begin to work through umpire, score bench, and coaching certificates, which will allow them to develop their overall understanding of Basketball and provide them with industry recognised qualifications.
