Four of our Senior Leaders; Anna Sawicki, Amtoj Randhawa, Christopher Argentino and Anotida Chiyangwa are now the recipients of the prestigious Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards.

These awards were presented during the holidays in a formal ceremony at Government House by His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, Governor of WA.

The ceremony was attended by proud family, friends and PCACS staff; PCACS Principal Ms Felicity House, Head of Senior School Mr Steve Wynhorst and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award coordinator Mrs Melanie Hunt.

Anotida Chiyangwa was selected as one of five students to deliver a speech about his adventurous journey to receiving this Gold award. He shared his experiences aboard the Leeuwin Sailing Ship, highlighting the challenges and personal growth he encountered throughout this programme.

We celebrate these students for their hard work and dedication that goes into receiving an award of this regard. This achievement not only showcases the students’ dedication, but it also serves as an inspiration to their peers, encouraging others to engage in challenging and community focused endeavours too.

Mrs Hunt also received special recognition for her outstanding coordination of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme at our school. Throughout her x amount of years coordinating The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, Mrs Hunt has made a significant impact on the growth and development of students in the programme.
